I got a comment from a student that he wished he hadn't started his capstone project yet, because he was intrigued and had rather done his capstone project on RAG after he heard my talk. During the break we discussed methods of evals for RAG. We all learned from this.

Article for NLJUG Java magazine (paper). In this article I share my lessons learned from implementing RAG when creating reusable modules to extend the existing platform of my employer with generative AI.
Presented my talk about my lessons learned while implementing RAG. About 25 people subscribed to my mailinglist, the audience was engaged during the Q&A after my talk for 15 minutes and only stopped because of the break. During the break I got more questions and conversations.
I added a module to Langchain4J to enable Micrometer metrics to the library to measure token usage in Chatmodel requests.
