I am a technical reviewer for the Microsoft eDiscovery in Depth book by Packt which will be published later this year. This process involved reviewing each chapter for technical accuracy and I suggested readability improvements as well. Through my review, the authors are able to better structure the book and enhance the content within the chapters which ultimately leads to a better experience for the reader.
I was asked by OrangeAVA publication company to be a technical reviewer for their SC-100 book. This involved reviewing a few chapters for technical accuracy and suggesting any thoughts or improvements I had. The author then took this on board in the final version which was then published.
Acted as a design partner for Purview eDiscovery by working with the product group closely. This involved testing new user experiences, features and feeding back my thoughts and suggestions to improve. The Purview eDiscovery product group really valued my feedback as they developed the product. With the emergence of eDiscovery for Incident Response, security practitioners will pay attention to it and Microsoft is leading the way thanks to the native integrations across the solutions.
I was on the Microsoft Security Insights Show with Rod Trent, Edward Walton, Brodie Cassell and Andrea Fisher sharing my knowledge and insight on Microsoft 365 Incident Response and M365 Digital Forensics.
I gave a talk on Deciphering the Microsoft 365 Unified Audit Log (UAL) as part of Festive Tech Calendar. My talk walked through the structure of the UAL, how to get access and explored a few use cases. This was positively received by the community, I'm glad I was granted this opportunity to share my insight and I have received various requests for going even further with some advanced content which I'm strongly considering.
