📋 Biography
I'm Dani Brandsema, Adoption Consultant at Wortell and Product Owner of our Copilot adoption service. I help organizations make Copilot actually land in day-to-day practice, not just in training sessions or another deck on someone's screen. The interesting part is rarely the technology itself. It's the behaviour, the workflows, and the small habits that decide whether a tool sticks or quietly disappears again after a few weeks. I share what I learn by speaking at events, through Copilot Confessions, a biweekly LinkedIn Live and blog series, and through Copilot Connect, a community I founded for practitioners who want to talk honestly about what adoption really looks like in practice. My background is in hospitality, and that still shapes how I approach this work: always from the user's perspective, always focused on what genuinely works in real life rather than only on paper.

Attendees left with a simple, memorable framework they could apply the same week to diagnose why a Copilot rollout stalls. At Experts Live Netherlands, the largest Microsoft community conference in the Netherlands, I co-delivered this breakout session with Microsoft MVP Cas de Morree in a plenary room. We gave a 3C framework, Cut, Clarify and Commit: Cut what is unnecessary, use Copilot to Clarify your work, and Commit to small but lasting habits. Several attendees brought it back into their own organizations.
Participants went back to their own organizations as the practical Copilot reference point for colleagues. At Experts Live Netherlands, the largest Microsoft community conference in the Netherlands, I co-delivered a fully booked full-day masterclass on practical Copilot adoption with Microsoft MVP Femke Cornelissen. The day moved past feature demos into realistic adoption patterns, prompt techniques and real customer lessons people could apply the same week, covering leadership and strategy, prompting, agents, admin and Cowork. One attendee, Robert Panhuyzen, reached out afterwards to set up the custom skill I demoed live in his own environment: one that checks for finished meetings every four hours and drafts the summary and action items automatically. For me, that is the outcome that matters most: someone taking an idea from the session and turning it into something they use in practice.
This is one of my clearest international stages. I hosted a live Copilot Cowork deep dive for Team Copilot, an independent Copilot platform with international reach, with Efe Abugo (Microsoft, US). The session walked practitioners through what Cowork changes in daily work, including how skills, memory, grounding and orchestration influence the user experience. Concrete use cases were shared, with people joining from around the world and the live Q&A pulling in questions from outside the Netherlands. Co-hosting with a Microsoft colleague gave the audience both the product and the adoption-in-practice perspective in one session, and several attendees went on to build their own first Cowork use cases. The recording lives on as a reference.
