Roland Krummenacher helps organizations get the most value out of every dollar they invest in Microsoft Azure. As founder of wellarchitected.ch, he works in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and the fast-moving world of AI cost governance, where GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot open up huge value that's well worth managing intentionally. He's a co-maintainer of the open-source Microsoft FinOps Toolkit, where he ships fixes and features, reviews pull requests, and gently walks first-time contributors through their first PR. He also writes official Microsoft Learn docs, speaks at Azure community events (no slides, just live demos and honest trade-offs), co-hosts public FinOps Office Hours, and answers questions daily in GitHub Discussions and the FinOps Foundation Slack. His core belief is unfashionably simple: cost is an architectural quality attribute, right next to security and performance, not an afterthought on next month's invoice.
