Yogesh Thanvi

📋 Biography

Yogesh Thanvi is a Lead Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Akamai Technologies, working on cloud platform security in the Cloud Technology Group. Over fourteen years he has held release approval authority through three generations of the platform, from global DNS and traffic management to container infrastructure to platform security. His focus is cloud security posture management, policy-as-code enforcement for Kubernetes, and DevSecOps pipeline governance. He has published peer-reviewed research in IEEE proceedings on shift-left security testing, incident-aware CI/CD, and admission-time policy enforcement, including sole-authored work on CSPM enforcement for containerized workloads. He is named in the published acknowledgements of ISACA's IT Audit Framework, 5th Edition, serves as an ISACA Engage Topic Leader, and sits on ISACA advisory bodies for IT audit and emerging technology.
