Meron Gebremedhin

📋 Biography

Meron was born & raised in Ethiopia, East Africa, & moved to the United States in 2017. She is a trained software engineer with more than 14 years of experience in technology and business, including running her own international company. After starting over in America, Meron worked hard to reestablish her career in IT. She earned more than 16 Microsoft certifications, proving her dedication to continuous learning and growth. Meron is deeply passionate about community and mentorship. Inspired by the support she once received, she founded Pathfinders, a Power Platform community that helps newcomers to tech build skills, confidence, and careers. Through this work, she empowers others especially skilled immigrants to move beyond survival jobs and step into meaningful opportunities in technology. Meron believes in the power of community, mentorship, and technology to change lives for the better. She lives by the words of Mahatma Gandhi “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
