📋 Biography
Abou is a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Security Consultant based in Paris, with over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. He is a Microsoft MVP in Security and was the first Microsoft MVP in Ghana, as well as one of the first Cloud Security MVPs in sub-Saharan Africa. He has strong expertise in Microsoft cloud and security technologies, including Sentinel, Defender XDR, Intune, Entra, Purview, and Security Copilot. He is also a community leader, speaker, and blogger. He regularly organizes and speaks at events focused on Microsoft Azure, Cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server.

As the Founder and Organizer of Microsoft User Group Ghana, I lead a growing community of over 2,900+ members focused on Microsoft technologies, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Security, including Sentinel, Defender XDR, Intune, Entra, Purview, and Security Copilot. During this review period, I organized, moderated, and delivered multiple technical events, bootcamps, and workshops covering Cloud Security, SIEM & XDR, identity protection, endpoint management, and AI-driven security. These sessions included hands-on demonstrations, real-world scenarios, and implementation guidance aligned with Zero Trust principles. Impact: Through these initiatives, participants gained practical expertise in deploying Microsoft Security solutions, improving threat detection, automating security operations, and securing cloud environments. This has enabled professionals and organizations to strengthen their security posture and successfully adopt Microsoft technologies in real-world projects.
