📋 Biography

My Outlook career started in 1998, the University computers had Outlook Express installed, and that's when I started supporting Microsoft products more in depth. Microsoft Word and Excel were not difficult to troubleshoot, but Outlook was so robust, it was so fun for me to tackle problems and I enjoyed solving them. After graduating in 2000, every position I held seemed to keep me in the Outlook helpdesk world. In 2007 when I started my own consultancy and I promoted my business as an Outlook Expert by writing content on my website and other online communities. Through all this work, my business grew slowly and found myself enjoying the niche of Outlook work, I focused creating more content so I could help folks internationally. With Office 365 and Exchange being popular, this increased my interest even more and now my work is 50/50, 365 Admin and Outlook/New Outlook. The content has only been fun to learn with New Outlook. Interested in speaking and presenting at events in 2026.

A Technical Guide For Switching to New Outlook

As part of my marketing adventures I have learned that writing books helps end users and IT professionals learn how to do tasks themselves. This eBook is for technicians who need to learn more about how to migrate all types of data from Outlook Classic to New Outlook. Detailed step-by-step instructions and clear explanations for all technicians can understand. In time there will be graphics, PDF and videos supporting the eBook. You will see it's posted on a Patreon account, free to read and follow. By the time I'm done writing the book, New Outlook will be constantly changing, so it will be published as a digital eBook with updates as I come across major changes. Since we have under 4 years to go, I expect many changes and there might not be a final edition. My goal is to have subsribers on the Patreon who also want simple support. Technicians are known for getting in a pinch and want advice, while this is a monetizing method, it will not be launched until 2026 most likely.

Outlook for Estate Planning Professionals: Practical Tips and Demo

In this free webinar I was asked to present, I covered topics that a smaller law firm with no IT support would be interested in learning. The audience of 550 were Estate Planning lawyers who sometimes are still using older technology. With New Outlook coming, I hit on that topic first with other issues they will experience in the future. Smaller firms are well known to buy computers off the shelf and have Microsoft 365 home logins. What to expect when the new version of Outlook becomes mandatory. ->Master Your Calendar and Contacts: Practical tips to improve calendar and contact management. ->Solutions for syncing Outlook with your phone. ->Time-Saving Templates: Learn how to use templates to streamline repetitive tasks. ->Microsoft 365 Explained: Key differences between Microsoft 365 Home and Business plans. ->Why choosing the right plan matters for your workflow. ->Steps to verify that your email and data are backed up properly.

New Outlook Resource Guide

This page is a collection of all my New Outlook posts posted since last summer hosted on my business website, free to read and view content. I use the link to promote it across all my other marketing channels specifically for IT professionals. It's also one of my top blog searches in the past year. When I write a blog post about New Outlook in my WordPress, I add it to my New Outlook Resource Guide page. When I create newsletters, I add this link to the messages so people can review and learn what they need. When I thought of the 100 topics last summer, this idea spawned so I could keep track easily. I find the value of reading the page very interesting as it's all laid out. A viewer can scroll quickly and see a variety of topics all with simple and easy to understand "how-to" instructions. In time, I will update these as New Outlook develops and add/removes features.
