I created Firebootcamp to help students, and career change developers become great full stack developers via a free 12 week course & internship. It gives students, graduates, and self-taught developers hands-on experience with real-world software development practices. I also spend hours of my personal time mentoring interns, helping them build confidence, improve their communication skills, understand professional expectations, and feel supported as they take their first steps into tech. This helps strengthen the dev community by creating more confident junior developers, making the industry more accessible, and giving people from different backgrounds a clearer pathway into professional software development.
The SSW Rules are a set of best practices and guidelines developed originally by me and maintained by SSW to help developers write better code, improve collaboration, and follow industry standards. They cover a wide range of topics, including coding standards, DevOps, project management, and client communication.
