Solution Architect & Tech Lead | Systems built to evolve | .NET · Cloud · DDD
๐ Biography
I started with "how does it work?" and ended up asking "why does it break after six months?" For 15+ years I've built .NET systems as a developer, tech lead, head of engineering and consultant. I've kept 150+ applications running after an entire team left, moved critical on-prem infrastructure to Kubernetes, built a data warehouse processing 20M records per hour, and grown an engineering team from scratch to 15 people. Today I run Linecode, training and advising teams on software architecture, DDD, Event Storming and cloud. I've given 30+ talks at conferences and meetups, trained 300+ engineers, co-organize the Warsaw Software Architecture Group and write The Architect's Edge newsletter. I have opinions: many microservice systems would do better as a solid monolith, and AI code that works isn't the same as code you can maintain. The best architecture ideas are decades old. I help teams use them before bad decisions get set in concrete.
