Hal Hostetler
The Television Wizard
๐ Biography
I'm a Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer and I.T. Professional, I worked for KVOA Television here in Tucson, AZ. for over 34 years. My first "PC" was a Radio Shack Model I (A friend had one, I got hooked on an adventure game, and one thing led to another). I became the IT director/designer/fixer at KVOA when we went to newsroom automation in 1992. I was invited into the MVP program in 1996; I'd discovered Microsoft's peer support newsgroups, started searching them for problem solutions I couldn't find anywhere else, and wound up posting a good many more answers than questions...so it goes today. The most important benefit I've gained from being an MVP is my fellow MVPs. These folks are the most gifted, intelligent, caring, and totally COOL human beings I've ever met and its still overwhelming to be considered a peer.
