Speaker – 9th KARMA Annual Records Management Conference, Mombasa 🇰🇪

Delivered a session at the 9th Kenya Association of Records Managers & Archivists (KARMA) Annual Conference, held in Mombasa, Kenya. My talk, “Smart Records, Smart Government: Unlocking Trust and Access with AI,” explored how intelligent records systems, powered by Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, can transform public service delivery. The session included a live demo of the Smart Records Access Copilot, showcasing bilingual (English & Kiswahili) document retrieval aligned with Kenya’s Data Protection Act (2019) and Public Archives and Documentation Service Act. The presentation highlighted how AI can unlock transparency, trust, and accessibility in government by bridging people, policy, and technology.

Collaborator – Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (AI Agent Guidance Review)

Provided expert review and feedback for Microsoft’s new AI Agent Guidance under the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), which helps organizations design and manage AI Agents across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry. This collaboration contributed to improving enterprise readiness and responsible adoption of AI within Microsoft’s official guidance framework. I’m honored to have been recognized with the Collaborator – Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure badge for this contribution.

Global Winner – Best AI Application Built with Microsoft Fabric (FabCon Hackathon 2025)

Our team was honored to be announced as the Global Winner for Best AI Application at the Microsoft Fabric FabCon Hackathon 2025 for our project “Smart Waste Management for Dallas City.” The solution uses Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Copilot Studio to create an intelligent, end-to-end waste optimization system, integrating IoT telemetry, real-time analytics, predictive intelligence, and automated task orchestration in Microsoft Teams. It was incredible to see our work recognized globally on the Microsoft Fabric Blog , a true testament to the power of AI when paired with purpose-driven innovation.
