With nearly three decades in IT, I’ve built, broken, fixed, and shared my way through countless systems, identities, and access challenges. I’m now a Microsoft MVP in Identity & Access, passionate about making complex tech understandable and usable. Whether it’s through community events, blog posts, or meme-infused presentations, I love helping others grow and learn. I own and co-lead the blog AgderInThe.Cloud and co-manage Office 365 User Group Agder, and I thrive on collaboration, curiosity, and sharing. Together with Åsne Holtklimpen, we delivered an advanced session on enabling urgent access without compromising security. The talk demonstrated how Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Purview integrate to provide secure, just-in-time access during crises. We showcased practical implementations of Conditional Access policies, Access Packages, and sensitivity labels to maintain compliance and protect sensitive data, emphasizing real-world strategies for balancing speed and security in critical scenarios. The feedback follow the traffic-light model where we achieved 63 green, 1 yellow and 0 red feedback for this session.
At India Cloud Security Summit 2025, I delivered a session titled “No more identity theft! Harden your identity security today,” focusing on advanced identity protection in Microsoft Entra ID. I demonstrated how organizations can combine Conditional Access policies, enforce phishing-resistant MFA, and adopt passkeys to eliminate credential-based attacks. The session provided actionable strategies for securing identity lifecycles and reducing post-authentication risks, helping IT professionals implement modern, zero-trust principles and strengthen their security posture. This presentation was delivered virtually.
