Gil Raviv

📋 Biography

Gil Raviv is the founder of DataChant Consulting and the creator of BI Pixie, a groundbreaking engagement and auditing solution for organizations with mission-critical Power BI reports. Gil is a blogger (DataChant.com) and the author of the Microsoft Press book Collect, Combine, and Transform Data Using Power Query 1st edition, and co-author of the 2nd edition that was released in Dec, 2024. Gil has led numerous consulting engagements, presale activities and go-to-market initiatives as a global BI practice lead in Avanade/Accenture (2017 – 2021) and AWS (2022 -2023) and led delivery excellence and sales enablement for hundreds of global BI professionals. For his contributions to the Power BI community Gil was recognized as a Microsoft MVP in 2025, and previously in 2017–2021. Gil also received the Microsoft Fast Track Solution Architect award (2020, 2021) for his impact working with global enterprises in Avanade.
