Markus Franz is a passionate Power Platform maker, community leader, and content creator from Austria. With a strong background in building business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dataverse, he has developed solutions that streamline processes. Beyond his technical expertise, Markus is deeply engaged in the Power Platform community. He co-organizes the Austrian Power Platform Enthusiasts user group, driving both virtual and in-person meetups to connect like-minded professionals. As a Super User in the Power Apps Community Forum and a volunteer mentor in the Microsoft Power Up Program, he actively shares knowledge and supports newcomers in their Power Platform journey. Whether through community events, online content, or innovative business apps, he is dedicated to helping people unlock the full potential of low-code technology.

For a period of 3 month i was able to work with a mentee of the Women in Power Platfrom program, guiding her thru technical aswell as personal development sessions.
This group is for people in Austria who share an interest in the Power Platform, covering topics like Power Apps, Power Automate, and the platform’s wider ecosystem. It’s a community created to bring together enthusiasts who want to exchange knowledge, share practical experiences, and explore new ideas. The group welcomes everyone, whether they’re beginners learning the basics or professionals developing complex solutions. Meetings are mostly held online to ensure easy participation from different regions, with plans for in-person meetups whenever time and location allow. Beyond technical discussions, the group also serves as a networking hub, helping members build valuable professional connections. It’s a space where knowledge flows both ways, encouraging collaboration, mutual support, and continuous learning around all aspects of the Power Platform.
