๐Ÿ“‹ Biography

I started my journey in software development in 2002, inspired by Stephen Prat's book "C++ Primer Plus" when I was 13 years old. Today, as a Regional Fujitsu Distinguished Engineer, I lead IT projects from proof of concept through to delivery and maintenance phases. My experience spans various business sectors, including retail, legal, and defense, and encompasses frameworks such as .NET, Angular, React, and SQL, as well as platforms like Azure, AWS, and K8s. I mentor students from high school and up through an education program I created myself, with its products now thriving independently thanks to collaboration within our TechMentoringPL group. I strongly believe in the benefits of lifelong learning and sharing knowledge, aiming to make IT less intimidating for young adults, future tech leaders - this is also the goal of the TechMentoringPL group. To keep my skills sharp, I am currently pursuing the Certificate of Business Excellence at UC Berkeley Haas.

Simplifying the Education Process: Teaching Modern Web Development with .NET, Razor Pages and HTMX

@dotnet channel, YouTube, On .Net Live Livestream Teaching web development doesn't require complex architectures. Using Textbooker.pl app as our case study, we show how the .NET ecosystem simplifies the learning journey by integrating backend, frontend, and deployment into a single cohesive platform. Discover how Razor Pages and HTMX enable modern, interactive applications with minimal JavaScript, letting students focus on fundamentals, not frameworks.

Lecturer in Śląskie Techniczne Zakłady Naukowe

I have two courses there: - Virtual Machine and Networking labs based on the Microsoft Learn platform and hands-on using my Azure Subscription ( if a sandbox one is not available) - C# lessons based on the Exercism.org platform The TechMentoring community I am leading originated from this program. I dedicate approximately 8-12 hours per semester (for four consecutive years). This amount is too little to provide the proper value, so I offered these young adults an opportunity to continue on the Discord server. Nevertheless, the material I present during my visits to school is adjusted and designed to be manageable for the whole class and presented as a cohesive unit.

Exercism - code review automation

At the exercism platform, Supermentors and Lifetme Insiders can access the feature that automates user code review. We can create automatic responses to the exercises and code versions that users sent the most. It allows the community users to get an instant review from recognized mentors in a particular track if their code matches the code version. Behind this feature is a proven assumption that many users will solve exercises the same way, writing the code almost or exactly line by line, the same way.

Booker - open-source project

This project is an application designed to digitally transform the annual textbook sale at Śląskie Techniczne Zakłady Naukowe. It utilizes technologies such as .NET, Razor Engine + HTMX, Pico.css, and SQL Server. CI/CD is facilitated by GitHub Actions accessing KeyVault at the Azure Subscription. My primary impact is on my students. They gain invaluable practical experience with .NET, Azure, and modern development workflows by involving them in hands-on projects like our open-source endeavor. This collaboration in building and contributing goes far beyond theoretical learning, equipping them with tangible skills, confidence, and experience in introducing new products to the market. If we succeed with deployment, we will assist all the school students who want to exchange textbooks during the annual sale in November. We're on a good path, and the school government fully supports us. I see possibilities for scaling this project to other schools in the region.

Digital Transformation - how to recognize breakthrough innovations that will stay with us for longer

Beginning with the first industrial revolution and progressing to the contemporary fifth one, I've proposed key criteria for the "Digital Transformation" process. Together, we examined examples of both successful and unsuccessful transformations, as well as instances of adapting innovative products. A systematic approach to Digital Transformation can help accurately evaluate which ideas and products around us have the potential to endure, primarily because they effectively meet our needs and seamlessly integrate technology into our daily lives. I've infused a dose of healthy skepticism into the discussion about contemporary impactful technologies like Web 3.0 Applications, Power BI, and AI to equip my audience with additional tools to evaluate technology's influence on our businesses, daily activities, and future decisions. I'm showing this recording to my students.
