๐ Biography
I’ve loved computers since I was a kid, always pressing buttons to see how things worked—even if I took a brief detour to study photography at university! My tech career kicked off when I made an internal move from insurance sales into manual software testing (UAT). When they started automating processes using simple tools, I figured I could do better if I actually learned to code myself. I spent countless hours self-teaching, and it paid off; I eventually worked my way up to QA Technical Lead. Later, I joined ASOS as a Quality Engineer and worked up to Senior. After picking up more and more 'dev' tickets when I had downtime, I eventually side-stepped into a full-time Developer role. For me, the best way to learn something new is to just build it, which is how my passion for contributing to open-source projects all began.
